To the Manager and Staff at the Tremont
We would like to thank you for making our first stay in Chicago so wonderful. Not only is the hotel beautiful, clean, and well located, but the front desk attendants (all of you!) were so friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend and I were here celebrating my birthday a little early, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We had a wonderful time in Chicago. Weather was not a problem. Hardly needed a scarf this time. Only problem we had was Amtrak coming and going from Ann Arbor to Chicago. There were long delays with engine pressure trouble in Niles. However, our stay at the Tremont Hotel and our delightful visit with you made up for train trip trouble. Must say, John and I are extremely impressed that you have your motorcycle license. Thank you so much for the yellow Jack Shiraz wine and gift, wrapped candies in a Ghirardelli Cup. Fondly, Barbara E

Four years ago February, my dear, sweet husband passed away. Prior to that we frequented The Tremont. It was our very favorite spot!!! While visiting your hotel to see the bar I was shocked to see that your quaint bar was gone. I just sat beside the tree & reminisced about times past w/ "Joe the Bartender". Captured in my tears, an being in the moment I wanted a souvenir - I plucked this (red berries) from your tree. I am sorry. I was desperate for anything to hold onto including my husband's hand. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your help last Thursday! As I understand it, the conference room was great and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. Additionally, our two staff members the were actually staying for the week loved the hotel.

I wanted to take the time to congratulate you and your staff for outstanding customer service! Our company recently held an event at a nearby hotel. Unfortunately, we did not anticipate the overwhelming response we would have of attendees. The Tremont "stepped up" to our rescue.
Chantel Karnes, sales manager, went well beyond customer satisfaction. We, were desperate to secure rooms at a very late date. She went out of her way to do anything to make our symposium a success! The staff at the Tremont also deserves credit for their wonderful services with attention to the smaller details that make your hotel "special". Without the fantastic staff at The Tremont, you would be just another nice downtown Chicago hotel, as opposed to a magnificent customer satisfaction hotel. Please forward our best regards to everyone who made our stay a memorable one.

I wanted to reach out to you regarding the exemplary service we received from Chantel Karnes at the Tremont. We were hosting a conference nearby and ran out of rooms. Chantel was able to open up a block for our overflow of attendees. More than this service, she went out of her way to assist us in the process, to provide updates and status as needed, and she went out of her way to make our guests were not overlooked as part of our overall event. Quite honestly, we couldn't help but compare Chantel's level of service with out 'primary hotel partner'. I'll tell you that the staff there came out clearly on the short end of that comparison.
